Spent the weekend in Vegas. So many people in one town! Nice weather, lots of walking, good food and company, ahhhhh some down time. And a little Michael Jackson.

    Crepes in The Paris

The view of the pool out our window
    The Venetian

  Autumn in the Bellagio

   Just "clowning around"

Ahhhh one of our favorite spots for dining.

   The Venetian shoppes.

Seeing Starz

Making some wonky stars to put into a charity quilt for QuiltCon. These are what I have so far.....

        This one was paperpieced.
          Not my fav technique,
            but I like the star.

      And today these were born

   And a couple of 9 1/2 " ones

Another Flimsy Finish

I have been working on this quilt a long time. And so now finally the top is done!

This is a shot of the blocks all assembled

Then the two borders were added.

Tumalo Trails is finally a flimsy!
From Bonnie Hunters book / Scraps & Shirttails II

And I love it!

Even made some words to put on the back.

Now on to piecing the back.....
