Las Vegas



Spent the weekend in Vegas. So many people in one town! Nice weather, lots of walking, good food and company, ahhhhh some down time. And a little Michael Jackson.

Seeing Starz

Making some wonky stars to put into a charity quilt for QuiltCon. These are what I have so far.....


        This one was paperpieced.
          Not my fav technique, 
            but I like the star.

Another Flimsy Finish

I have been working on this quilt a long time. And so now finally the top is done!


This is a shot of the blocks all assembled



Then the two borders were added.

Now on to piecing the back.....

Quilt Show

 This weekend Westside Quilt Guild held a  very successful quilt show.

A Gammill Retreat

Earlier this week I attended a Gammill retreat over by the airport. I got in at the last minute as I just happened to find out about it through one of the forums that I follow. What a great learning experience for me. I was in the handguided class. Only about 12 of us in there. We each got a machine to practice on! The Statler group was so much bigger. I think about 100 in that group. Great to network with some of  the Gammill users in this Northwest area. Andrew the dealer out of Wenatchee is such a wealth of information. Great teachers. Great organizers. A great retreat! I didn't take many pictures as I was too busy learning.....
