On The Longarm Today

Quilted two quilts over the last two days.
The first is for a friend at work.
Just love the fabric in this one.

         Such happy fabric!

          Swirly quilting .

And the backing is so pretty!

And then today I finished a baby quilt for my daughters friend.
I used Minky on the back, a little stretchy but not too bad.

Chantilly Lace panto that I forgot I had.
I think it made a nice compliment to the quilt.
Now on to binding and in the mail with it.

A Precious Find

I came across a box up in my fabric closet today. Inside was a quilt my mother in law had started before she got sick. I can remember her talking about and gathering fabric for this quilt. It was to go on her bed. I found a receipt from Fabricland that had the year 1989 on it. I found two large pieces that only needed to be put together to make a nice size quilt that will be perfect on our bed in our new to us camper. What a pleasant surprise! My husband will be delighted with my find!

Time to say Goodbye to Sisters

What a great vacation. Today it rained and hailed from time to time, but we just stayed inside and sewed! This morning we were able to get into town to hear a lecture by Angela Walters and to see some of her quilts hanging outdoors. Beautiful way to end our Quilt Show weekend.

It's time for the Quilt Show

Once again I find myself lucky enough to be in Sisters ( Black Butte actually) for the annual Quilt Show.  Doing a little sewing and quilt shop hopping with a good friend. Definitely a busy little section of Oregon  the next few days as we gear up for the quilt show.
A few pictures from my day.....with more to come!
