Getting Caught Up!

Tomorrow is the reveal of clue number three of the Mystery Quilt, En Provence.
I am officially caught up so yay me!
I have been sewing a few things for Christmas in between clues.
Today we had snow here which is a little rare foe Portland Oregon area.
The kids were out of school and my meeting was cancelled, a good time to sew, sew, sew !

I sewed with Bonnie a little this week.
   An impromptu quilt cam.

And I discovered I had this dye for my Accuquilt!
It made cutting this weeks clues quick, accurate, and easy!

My week 1 and 2 clues all done.
I'm doing 75% of the units for a smaller version.

And I found the cutest flannel to back my pineapple flannel quilt.

Back to the holiday sewing. Enjoying the process!

A New Mystery

Happy Thanksgiving...

Visiting  my San Diego family for the weekend. I left my fabric at home for the new Quiltville mystery. It was on purpose but....Today the first clue was released. Seeing all the 4 patches being made. I convinced my DIL to stop at Joanne's and bought a quarter yard of 5 neutral pieces. Going to borrow her machine and start my blocks. Just needed a little fix.

Beautiful weather here. Sunny and warm. Nice to be with my son and DIL. And was able to get out a little in the Black Friday frenzy!

    My new neutrals.

   Love this slant o matic!

   Twirling those seams!

   Coming out perfect.

20 down.....200+ to go. Enjoying the process.

Crater Lake

Guess I needed a little break from the blog. Its fun to go back and look at some of m posts. They job my memory about where I was, what I was doing. Any way.......

Last weekend we went camping near Crater Lake. We had never really explored this area of Oregon, so we discovered there is a lot to be seen. So many waterfalls and beautiful parts of the Rogue River to be discovered. The weather was beautiful.. We also drove around the rim of Crater Lake. Such beauty all over that area.
