Sewing with my Sisters at the Sea
I am spending the week at the coast with my sisters. We have our featherweights and projects . The weather here is unseasonably warm for January. Today we did a little shop hopping and sewing. Enjoying our time.

Friendship
I must say I do have some pretty incredible friends. I had lunch with one of my good friends today and you won't ever guess what came home with me today.
I may have turned her on to a new obsession a while back.
She is a whiz at EBAY and Goodwill.com and started a collection of toy sewing machines along with featherweights and old quilts.
We spent a weekend with each other last summer and wham she was on a roll........
These just make me HAPPY!

Kneadlessly Simple Sunday
Last week at work one of my fellow workers was talking about a simple bread recipe that her kids were raving about and I remembered making this kind of bread a few years ago. It takes a little forethought because it sits over night but oh my is it worth it. I started it yesterday and finished it this afternoon. Just the thing to pair with a big pot of faux Olive Garden Pasta Fagioli soup, on a rainy Sunday.
And isn't this bread look in' good!

The Reveal!
Last week we had the Mystery Quilt finish and reveal.
I have been busy with the holidays and working, but I needed to see what mine would look like so I finished four of the blocks to make a mini quilt.
I am lovin it!
Back to finishing all the missing pieces.....
